  • Kastin Bradley

Hello! My name is Kastin Bradley, I use they/them pronouns, and I am a Registered Social Worker providing psychotherapy at Grounded Psychology. I am originally from Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), I am grateful to now live and practice in kanadario (Ontario), within the Anishinabe Algonquin territory. As a non-binary individual, I have a personal understanding of the unique challenges and needs of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, as well as the importance of queer joy. Providing gender-affirming care and support to the community is not just a professional commitment but a deeply personal one. Whether you’re within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community yourself, are curious about it, or are a friend, family member/parent or someone seeking to understand and process your own thoughts and feelings about a loved one’s sexual or gender identity – I would love to work with you! I also work with autistic individuals/individuals with autism, folks with disabilities, developmental delays and those who identify as neurodivergent. I love working with diverse folks of all ages, having experience with parental bonding and co-regulation with newborns, kiddos as young as 3 years old, teenagers and adults up until the end of life.

I provide an anti-oppressive, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard and supported. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I am committed to working alongside my clients every step of the way to help them gain insights, create positive change, and feel fulfilled within their lives. My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-focused, drawing on various techniques from narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and mindfulness to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth. Therapy can seem scary and daunting – but it doesn’t have to be! I am here to support you, meet you where you’re at and help you move through some of life’s challenges.

Before completing my Master of Social Work, I completed a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Acadia University and am a board-certified music therapist (BC-MT). I am a firm believer that connection to oneself can be achieved through various means, whether that be somatically through movement or grounding techniques, through musical expression, through art or creation, mindfulness or visualization; I am here to hold space and honour your needs. Whether you’re seeking support for a specific issue or looking for general personal growth, I am here to help. Please feel free to contact me to schedule a consultation and begin your journey toward growth, healing and self-discovery. Looking forward to meeting you!
