A spinal injury in my early twenties left me in chronic pain for over five years. The pain took away essential aspects of my life. It spilled over and affected my mind, my emotions, and what I felt was possible for my future. The healing journey felt like finding my way out of a maze. It took time, physical, mental, and emotional work, and it wasn’t a linear process. The path out of pain, whether emotional, mental, physical, existential or spiritual, is something unique to you: something I would be grateful to accompany you through. The ways we integrate our wounds and transform our suffering will be individual to each other, and my hope is that my experience with suffering and healing will serve as a bridge. I aim to bring resonance and attunement in our work together, and to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
As a therapist, I offer an engaged and non-judgmental presence. I believe healing happens through meaningful dialogue, within relationships built on safety and trust. My work is guided by a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and narrative therapy framework where I draw from emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of healing. I aim to meet clients where they are, with curiosity and care, as they gain insight into their experiences, identities, and inner worlds. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, chronic stress, life transitions, grief, depression, trauma, or questions of meaning and purpose, my approach is always collaborative, client-led, and shaped by the context of your life.
I hold a Master’s in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University, where I worked with individuals carrying complex personal challenges and interned on the call triage team, helping clients in distress feel heard and matched with the right supports. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, a postgraduate certificate in Mental Health Intervention from Seneca College, and obtained certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). My hope is that our work together can become a space of honest connection, where you feel seen and supported by a steady presence that honors your process at every step. I’ve learned that healing often begins with being heard, and I work to provide the space where that becomes possible.
