As a parent to two young kiddos, a helper, and a business owner, I know the stresses of a busy, taxing week. I feel the pressures of our society that has moved so far away from community and support, and places high expectations of productivity and perfection on so many of us. This is what I like to push back on, and why I love being able to help others do so too. I love to be able to hold space to help others slow down, shift, and reconnect with what it truly important to us all as humans.
I am a clinical psychologist who works with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a range of mental health difficulties. In addition to treating challenges with depression, anxiety, behavioural difficulties (e.g., anger, impulsivity), and addiction. I also has extensive experience in helping clients with relationship issues, adjustment difficulties, and navigating life transitions. I will work with you to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your own individual needs, with the goal of increasing your quality of life and functioning.
I have experience working in a variety of private practice, community, school, and hospital-based settings with adults dealing with a range of difficulties. I am trained in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), in addition to utilizing theory and techniques from a number of theoretical orientations.

I received my B.A. in psychology from Stanford University and my M.Ed in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta. I continues to stay current in the latest research and theories to support my work with clients.
