Sukhjit (Sukhi) Sidhu
Life’s transitions and challenges can often feel overwhelming, whether they stem from personal changes, relationships, or unforeseen circumstances. My own journey navigating significant life changes has taught me the importance of kindness, adaptability, and finding support during difficult times. These experiences fuel my passion for creating a compassionate space where clients feel understood, valued, and empowered to overcome their unique challenges.
In my practice, I integrate humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to meet each client’s specific needs. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction related difficulties, relationship challenges, gender dysphoria, as well as those navigating trauma, identity concerns and migration. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, one where safety and understanding are at the forefront to help clients achieve meaningful growth and healing.
I am a registered psychotherapist and I am currently qualifying to become a counselling psychologist. I obtained my degrees in Psychology from the United Kingdom, including a PsychD in Counselling Psychology from the University of Roehampton, an MSc in Genes, Environment & Development from King’s College London, and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Brunel University. With experience across hospitals, charitable organizations, and private practice, I bring a diverse skill set to support clients from various walks of life while continuously integrating the latest psychological insights into my work.
