Ashley is a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) with Grounded Psychology. She is passionate about helping clients connect with their deepest selves and achieve holistic wellness. Ashley wanted to become a psychotherapist after growing up experiencing her own family members’ mental illnesses as well as issues with addiction. She began studying psychology as a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother and quickly realized that she wanted to train as a therapist. Her passion is to help others find and utilize their strengths and resilience to achieve their goals. Ashley offers a flexible, client-focused approach to help individuals reach their full potential. Her holistic perspective emphasizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, and she is dedicated to empowering clients on their paths to healing and growth.
Ashley works with individuals, children, and couples, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique experiences and needs. She supports clients navigating a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, family and relationship issues, attachment styles, self-confidence, and other wellness-oriented personal goals. In her work, she draws from a diverse toolkit of therapeutic modalities-including humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. With a BA in Psychology from Queen’s University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University, Ashley brings a compassionate, person-centred approach to her practice.
