Ariana Tamas works with individuals, couples and families (age 18+) to address a variety of issues in a safe, welcoming and compassionate environment. She strongly believes in the power of resilience and seeks to reconnect clients to their inner wisdom and resources.

Clients may be facing relationship, intimacy and communication difficulties, anxiety and depression symptoms, pandemic-related stressors, loneliness, grief and trauma, inner conflicts, existential concerns and life transitions. Whatever the situation, Ariana uses an integrative approach adapted to each client’s unique needs and goals. She draws from evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, logotherapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and emotionally focused therapy (EFT). She also has experience addressing the challenges of newcomers to Canada and of intercultural couples. In addition, she offers individuals the unique opportunity to try Walk and Talk Therapy and reap the healing benefits of nature.

Ariana holds an MA in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University. She is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #10161) and is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Her professional development is ongoing, and she is always seizing learning opportunities to provide culturally-sensitive and inclusive care.
